The International Association of Applied Control Theory
(IAACT) is a learning organization dedicated to
learning and teaching the ideas of Perceptual Control Theory. We offer a
certification program to assist practitioners in such fields as counseling,
addictions, education, management, recreation, health, government, and justice.
IAACT offers trainings and consulting services in Australia, Canada,
Mexico, and the United States. For upcoming courses and seminars leading

Our faculty includes practitioners in the fields of psychology, ministry,

Control Theory
Perceptual Control Theory is the scientific theory of
human motivation and behavior. It provides an explanation of internal
motivation. It helps us understand how we act continuously and purposefully
at many levels to achieve our goals in an ever-changing world.
